    My daughter Akeelah was born on June 27, 2008. She was 30 weeks 6 days gestation. We heard her little cry and watched her try with all her might to stay with us. Angels had other plans for her and she passed away the same day. I'm so grateful for the moments we had with her and the months I was able to carry her.
